We received a brief from a commercial client to help them to build a new Joomla website including Google Mapping and picture galleries, covering walks in Perthshire. The main emphasis being that the client could upload their own walks and pictures via a front-end CMS.

The client selected the following Joomla template because of the huge flexibility it offered with module positions:

Check out a graphic designer led project using the same template:

This is how the site eventually looked at www.highlandperthshirepaths.co.uk
It was a relatively simple process to take the master template and "tweak" to replicate the client's vision and in fact a lot of the final design work was done by the client following a two day residential course.
By making very simple changes to the CSS Style sheets and the template graphics, it is possible to change the entire look of the site.
This site uses a database system with comprehensive category selection to display the various walks via the Find a Path section and replicated in the four footer menus. |
